On another vein— how about all the DYI videos that lure you into a consumer mentality? That keep you in a spiraling anxiety to HAVE better.

What an awesome article! Thank you. It’s actually helping with the profound depression that I’ve been experiencing—much of it due to our current “regime“ and my feelings of inadequacy in helping to reverse its policies.

I’m not God.

What a concept! Moreover, the more I try — and fail — the less my trust in God. It’s okay to feel comfort, to not always strive so much I get depressed if I’m happy.

Nonetheless, I also know it’s the shared struggle that, God willing, will overturn the impetus of this dire political situation.

How do I/we find balance? The conundrum of this Lenten season.
