I am a Catholic and I can tell you that Vance doesn’t even follow or understand the tradition he claims, so it’s unsurprising to me that he demonized another he doesn’t understand. The stories he creates look nothing like the stories we were given a couple thousand years back, stories that inspire and challenge us to be our best selves, to reflect the love of God, to bring that light into this world. Jesus created some stories to demonstrate what that could look like... maybe the memes of those ancient days? Our VP spins a different sort of tales today, tales of fear, jealousy, resentment of others, dividing neighbor from neighbor. Call me old fashioned, conservative even. I'll stick with an older creator
